INTRODUCTION:

                                'Headache' was written by R.K Narayan(Rasipuram Krishnaswami Aiyeer) one of the most distinguished indian writer in english.He had won sahitya akademi award for his novel 'The Guide'.Headache one of his such essay where he tells how people use headache very common for blame excuses.

HEADACHE A BLESSING:

                                The author says headache is a blessing to mankind because many people escape with a silly reason headache.For example if a student wants to take leave the first things highlights his mind is"As i am suffering headache grant me leave today" so he says headache is a blessing to mankind.

BREAKOUT OF PROMISES:

                                The author says headache cannot be used as a silly reason everytime.For example he explains a suituation in school where students try to avoid physical exercise by telling the reason headache.But noticing this the drill master says whoever has headache can leave the ground but they will be missing few other drill classes.hence headache has no work here.

ESCAPE OF APPOINMENTS:

                                The author says many high class official use headache as a reason to escape from their meetings saying owing to the indisposition(sickness) i cannot attend the meeting  therefore indisposition works here.But when a clerk says owing to indisposition i will not do my work will certainly have to lose his job.Therefore indisposition doesn't work here.And when a school boy says "As I am indisposed I waant to go home will have his ear twisted.

HUMAN RELATIONSHIP:

                                 Headache is important in order to maintain human relationship.In any normal hosehold one may see a variety of headaches and if a younger one in a family got headache a great care will be given to him thereby he postpone all of his work and enjoys the comfort at the maximum

CONCLUSION:

                          The author concludes by saying that Headache has become a confirmed habbit from very old days.Thus he says mankind easily believe in myths(commenly believed idea which is not true)
